[06:43]<+camerongray> Not sure I ever showed you this but it's pretty interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPnehDhGa14
[06:43]<+camerongray> Basically someone installed Windows 1.0 and used the windows upgrade wizards to upgrade through all versions up to Windows 7
[06:43]<+camerongray> Some of the components from Windows 1.0 were still present and working under 7
[06:56]<+camerongray> Well done RBS, I have can't order a replacement card online but I can use Minicom :P
[06:56]<+camerongray> Tempted to find a old modem and see what they say :P
[07:08]<+pottsi> hey jacky
[07:08]<+pottsi> got a sec for a pm?
[07:08]<+camerongray> hey pottsi
[07:09]<+pottsi> hey camerongray
[07:09]<+camerongray> Switched my VPS to CentOS :D
[07:09]<+pottsi> ewww
[07:09]<+pottsi> fool
[07:09]<+pottsi> xD
[07:09]<+camerongray> lol
[07:09]<+camerongray> Should have used Ubuntu? :P
[07:09]<+pottsi> centOS can go die
[07:09]<+pottsi> ubuntu ftw
[07:09]<+pottsi> centOS is not user friendly at all
[07:09]<+pottsi> for anyone
[07:09]<+camerongray> lol, I use a centos web hosting control panel :P
[07:09]<+pottsi> i know linux well
[07:09]<+pottsi> still hate uing centOS
[07:10]<+camerongray> I'm only using it for hosting so nothing major, and I'm pretty used to cent
[07:10]<+camerongray> Just terminal only
[07:11]<+camerongray> So much faster than Windows
[07:12]<+camerongray> Even unshorten it is quicker despite the bottleneck being the APIs that I call
[07:12]<+pottsi> windows blows
[07:12]<+pottsi> :(
[07:12]<+camerongray> yeah, was easier ti set up but so much slower
[07:13]<+camerongray> to*

[15:48]<+Craig> Hey Guys
[15:50]<@Mulreay> hello
[15:51]<@BC_Programming> hi Craig and Mulreay
[15:51]<@BC_Programming> and whomever else
[15:51]<@Mulreay> oh balls
[15:52]<+Craig> You two ever hear of Endless Space?
[15:52]<@Mulreay> Like infinity?
[15:53]<@BC_Programming> http://endless-space.amplitude-studios.com/
[15:53]<+Craig> Heh no, the game?
[15:54]<@BC_Programming> looks cool
[15:54]<@BC_Programming> is it local or an MMO or what
[15:55]<+Craig> Local, and online, but not MMO. :)
[15:55]<+Craig> I am playing the Alpha right now. :)
[15:55]<@BC_Programming> ahh cool
[15:56]<@BC_Programming> I don't really like MMO games
[15:56]<+Craig> :P
[15:56]<@Mulreay> Yeah I have lost favour with the MMO genre..
[15:57]<+Craig> Oh?
[15:57]<@Mulreay> I prefer MSO
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> I didn't even know you played it Mulreay
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> Massive... Singleplayer online?
[15:57]<@Mulreay> Massive single player offline
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> oh
[15:57]<+Craig> HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
[15:57]<@BC_Programming> that makes more sense
[15:58]<@BC_Programming> though I guess it's not really massive, is it? :P
[15:58]<+Craig> That was epic.
[15:58]<@Mulreay> Skyrim is pretty huge
[15:58]<@BC_Programming> well yeah but it's not massively singleplayer
[15:59]<+Craig> Its only a few square Kilometers, Just Cause 2 was HUGE.
[15:59]<@Mulreay> You don't get more massive single player than there being no multiplayer
[15:59]<@Mulreay> Just cause 2 I have also played and completed
[15:59]<@BC_Programming> yeah but Just Cause 2 had jets and stuff, so in some ways skyrim "feels" larger because you can't drive across it and stuff
[16:00]<+Craig> :P True
[16:00]<@Mulreay> 'Fast travel'?
[16:00]<@BC_Programming> you could do that in JC2 as well
[16:00]<@BC_Programming> but what I mean is when you travel you walk or ride a horse
[16:00]<@Mulreay> So what is the difference
[16:00]<@BC_Programming> you can't just drive a garett-z
[16:00]<@Mulreay> Well you can grab a car and drive there
[16:00]<+Craig> :P
[16:00]<@BC_Programming> in skyrim?
[16:01]<@Mulreay> in just cause
[16:01]<@Mulreay> No real differnce
[16:01]<@BC_Programming> that's my point... distances in JC2 are comparatively "closer" by virtue of the travel method being faster
[16:02]<+Craig> I suppose, but it still takes a crap ton of time to get anywhere...
[16:02]<@BC_Programming> well that's true for both games if you have to go far
[16:03]<@Mulreay> Anyway each has there merrits.. but as far as 'travel time' you don't have caves to clear that can take a long time.. all of just cause relies on fighting when you choose and all above ground
[16:03]<@BC_Programming> Like walking from Windhelm to Malakath- imagine how far you'd get in a JC2 jet in the same time frame
[16:04]<@Mulreay> I love both games as you know 'I got you into Just cause 2' but I feel Skyrim takes more time
[16:04]<@BC_Programming> JC2's standard game is too short
[16:04]<@Mulreay> yeah
[16:04]<@BC_Programming> and doesn't use enough of the map
[16:05]<@Mulreay> exactly
[16:07]<@Mulreay> I go on MC for 30mins cameron leaves and then a troll turns up... it's always the way
[16:11]<@Mulreay> Game of thrones is my new guilty pleasure
[16:12]<@BC_Programming> I've been playing terraria again
[16:12]<@BC_Programming> managed to kill that mechanical worm
[16:12]<+Craig> Nice, BC you should join on my server with Ryan and I.
[16:12]<@Mulreay> If you have not watched season 1 of game of thrones you should.. season two is getting better
[16:13]<@BC_Programming> Adamantite armour, mythril sword and MAH RAINBOW ROD
[16:13]<@BC_Programming> oh and my laser gun
[16:13]<+Craig> hahaha Nice
[16:14]<@BC_Programming> still need to kill skeletron prime
[16:14]<@BC_Programming> I sort of cheated, since I grabbed a bunch of hellstone and made a platform out of it
[16:14]<@BC_Programming> take off my obsidian horseshoe and I keep taking one damage and nothing else is able to hurt me, hahaha
[16:18]<+Craig> Yeah I know what you mean, thoguh I have the ob sheild and the Ob horseshoe
[16:19]<@BC_Programming> I didn't combine mine for that very reason :P
[16:19]<+Craig> heh, yeah it would be a pain if I wanted to take damage...
[16:19]<+Craig> But thats why I have a magic mirror
[16:19]<@BC_Programming> I have like three cobalt shields now, heh
[16:20]<@BC_Programming> I've been making new worlds and taking the dungeon goodies from them, heh
[16:21]<+Craig> We have several of those and clouds in a bottle, and such, those are the easy things to get. :p
[16:22]<@BC_Programming> yeah I filled a few chests full of crap
[16:22]<@BC_Programming> I have a chest full of pwnhammers from killing the wall of flesh
[16:22]<@BC_Programming> took me <sooo> many tries to kill the first time around
[16:23]<@BC_Programming> now it's just "oh, while I'm down here I guess I could kill the wall of flesh"
[16:23]<+Craig> hahahah
[16:32] * Nepherius (Nepherius@ECDF51.954D12F4.4B6EC6D2.IP) Quit (Quit: )
[16:32]<+Tux2> I was just able to order pizza and have it delivered! Haven't been able to do that in quite a long time. :D
[16:33]<+Craig> oh?
[16:33]<@BC_Programming> heh
[16:33]<+Tux2> Yeah, I have celiac, so I can't order pizza
[16:33]<+Craig> OH hahahaha
[16:33]<+Tux2> Dominos just came out with a gluten free crust, and although I know the risks of cross contamination I ordered anyways. ;)
[16:34]<+Tux2> We're a small town, so I can make special requests. :D
[16:34]<+Craig> Nice
[16:36]<+Tux2> If i don't get sick from it I'll definitely be ordering again. :D
[16:37]<+Craig> Did you tell them that you are unable to have gluten? because if you tell them they will clean the boards and use new knives.
[16:37]<+Tux2> Yup
[16:37]<+Craig> Cool, I think you'll be fine
[16:37]<+Tux2> i asked them to change gloves too
[16:38]<+Craig> Smart,
[16:39]<+Tux2> I've made a few crustless pizzas at Pizza Hut when I've gotten hungry over there, and so far there hasn't been any contamination that way, so I figured if they actually followed the instructions I gave I would be fine.
[16:42]<+Tux2> I tipped the delivery driver quite well as well.

[20:15]<@BC_Programming> looking now
[20:16]<@BC_Programming> HAHA
[20:16]<@BC_Programming> awesome
[20:21]<+Tux2> :)
[20:21]<+Tux2> That was me doing the diamond dog.
[20:21]<+Craig> Have you guys ever heard of Starz?
[20:22]<+Tux2> I've heard of it
[20:22]<@BC_Programming> going to have to answer no to that Craig
[20:22]<+Craig> Did you wanna play it?
[20:22]<+Craig> *Pre windows vista though...
[20:22]<+Craig> We can play on a VPN
[20:22]<+Tux2> It's a game?
[20:22]<+Craig> Yeah
[20:23]<@BC_Programming> my google searches on the subject leave me a bit confused
[20:23]<+Craig> http://www.starsfaq.com/fileinfo.htm
[20:24]<@BC_Programming> ty
[20:31]<@BC_Programming> hmm can't decide whether I like dxtory or not
[20:31]<@BC_Programming> it actually combines the video into one so I don't have to go through the same crap to get them into one as I do with fraps
[20:31]<@BC_Programming> but I have to extract the audio to process it with audacity
[20:47]<+Tux2> lol, 2 comments in less than 20 minutes on one of my original videos! That sets a new record!
[20:47]<@BC_Programming> I helped
[20:53]<+Tux2> Yup. :D
[20:53]<+Tux2> It would be funny if it made it to EQD, which I doubt.
[20:55]<@BC_Programming> yeah you'd be right up there with other greats who made it on eqd
[20:55]<@BC_Programming> such as myself of course
[20:55]<@BC_Programming> heh
[21:31]<+Tux2> lol
